Medical Liaison - Obesity & Liver Health - New York Metro

Role: Medical Liaison focusing on metabolic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, cardiometabolic, and liver conditions, supporting Novo Nordisk's product portfolio through scientific and clinical engagement. Responsibilities: build relationships with healthcare professionals, provide medical information, support educational events, identify clinical trial sites, and facilitate scientific exchange. Collaborates with internal teams (Medical, Sales, Marketing, HEOR) and external stakeholders (KOLs, providers, institutions) to optimize product use and gather clinical insights. Coordinates clinical support, assists with formulary discussions, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, PharmD), minimum two years' experience in healthcare, pharma, or managed care, with preference for metabolic disease expertise. Skills include strong communication, scientific knowledge, and business acumen. HighValue: metabolic disorders, clinical trial site identification, medical support across all trial phases, and stakeholder engagement. WorkSetup: Field-based in the NY Metro region, including NYC boroughs, Long Island, and Westchester, with 50-75% overnight travel. Experience in metabolic therapeutics preferred.
