Medical Laboratory Technician

Role: Laboratory Technician supporting clinical testing operations at Labcorp in Hot Springs, AR. Objectives: perform specimen testing, ensure quality and accuracy, maintain instrumentation, and support laboratory workflows. Responsibilities: assess specimen acceptability, execute routine and complex procedures per SOPs, troubleshoot equipment, prepare reagents, report results accurately, perform preventative maintenance, monitor supplies, assist with specimen processing, and uphold safety standards. Requirements: Associate’s degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; proficiency with laboratory information systems; attention to detail; ability to work independently and in teams; pass color blindness test; flexibility for overtime or shift work. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in relevant sciences, 6+ months clinical lab/testing or phlebotomy experience, ASCP or AMT certification, prior Labcorp experience. High-Value: Clinical laboratory setting, diagnostic testing, specimen handling, quality control, instrumentation troubleshooting, and compliance with GxP standards. WorkSetup: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, onsite in Hot Springs, AR; flexibility for overtime/shifts.
