Medical Laboratory Scientist - $10,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist performing routine and complex testing at Ascension St. Thomas West Hospital, primarily on third shift, supporting patient diagnostics. Responsibilities: assess specimen acceptability, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, perform quality control, prepare reagents, report accurate test results, and maintain safety standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent; 1+ years of clinical testing experience or MLS degree; ability to work independently and in a team; familiarity with laboratory information systems; proficient computer skills; attention to detail; pass color blindness test; flexible to work overtime/shifts. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification, experience in general laboratory testing and blood banking. High-Value: clinical diagnostics, high-volume testing environment, emphasis on specimen handling, quality control, and instrumentation troubleshooting in a hospital setting.
