Medical Lab Technologist

Role: Medical Lab Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex laboratory testing within a hospital setting to support patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities include specimen evaluation, operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation, preparing reagents, reporting accurate results, and maintaining quality control and safety standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Life Science or Medical Technology, ASCP or AMT certification, with at least 1 year of recent Blood Bank experience preferred. Skills include high attention to detail, ability to work independently and in team, strong communication, and adaptability to overtime. Work setup involves night shift (7-on/7-off rotation, Thurs-Wed 9:00PM-7:30AM) at Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. Biopharma-specific aspects are minimal, focused on clinical diagnostic lab operations; no direct involvement in drug development or regulatory stages. Collaboration primarily with hospital staff and laboratory teams; minimal travel; on-site role.
