Medical Lab Technologist

Role: Medical Lab Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex laboratory tests, ensuring specimen quality, and maintaining laboratory instrumentation. Responsibilities: evaluate specimens, operate and troubleshoot lab equipment, prepare reagents, report accurate test results, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or Medical Technology; ASCP or AMT certification; preferred 1+ year clinical testing experience. High-value: clinical laboratory testing, generalist role across hospital lab departments, routine and complex procedures, quality control, troubleshooting, reagent preparation, and timely reporting. Work setup: full-time, 7-on/7-off shifts (Thursday-Wednesday, 9PM-7:30AM) at Meridian Medical Center, Tualatin, OR; flexibility for overtime; safety protocols in place.
