Medical Director/Sr Director, Clinical Research

Role: Senior Medical Director responsible for leading clinical development activities of pipeline products targeting neuromuscular diseases, with a focus on SMA and muscle atrophy. Responsibilities: define clinical strategy, oversee trial design and medical monitoring, author regulatory documents, provide scientific leadership in data interpretation, and engage with external experts and regulatory authorities. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, clinical operations, biostatistics, and regulatory teams; ensure compliance with GCP/ICH guidelines. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD based in Greater Boston, 5+ years in biopharma with 3+ years in clinical development, experience with rare diseases or neuromuscular conditions preferred; strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; travel approximately 15%.
