Medical Director/Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development

Role: Medical Director/Senior Medical Director leading clinical development for rare disease programs, with responsibility for trial design, execution, and life cycle management of pivotal studies. Responsibilities include overseeing trial conduct, providing medical input to regulatory and safety strategies, engaging with external experts, and authoring key clinical documentation. Requirements: MD or equivalent, board-certified or eligible in internal medicine or pediatrics, 3-10 years industry experience, with clinical trial design and conduct expertise from POC through Phase 3, preferably with NDA experience. High-Value: focus on rare/orphan diseases, Phase I-III trials, global regulatory interactions, and medical safety assessment. Work setup: flexible remote or hybrid in Cambridge, with travel for company events as needed.
