Medical Director / Senior Medical Director

Role: Senior clinical scientist or medical director supporting Nurix’s oncology pipeline, overseeing clinical trial strategy, design, and execution. Responsibilities: develop and implement global development plans, co-author protocols, contribute to regulatory filings (INDs, NDAs), and provide scientific oversight for safety and data review; collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical monitors, safety, and data management; lead external advisory committees and contribute to scientific literature and training. Requirements: advanced degree in clinical/biological sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD), 15+ years drug development experience with at least 5 years in oncology clinical trials; expertise in early to late-stage oncology studies, including first-in-human and proof of concept; strong understanding of clinical operations, translational medicine, and GxP standards; proficient in trial design, data review, and regulatory processes. Preferred: experience in biologics, small molecules, or cell therapies; involvement in Phase 3 or registrational studies; familiarity with Medidata Rave, Spotfire, and other industry tools. High-Value: oncology, cell/gene therapy, small molecules or biologics, IND/Phase 1-3, safety oversight, international trial experience. Collaboration: report to the Chief Medical Officer; work closely with study teams and external advisory groups. Location: onsite Brisbane, CA, with up to 25% travel.
