Role Summary
The Medical Director provides scientific and medical expertise in migraine to support development and execution of U.S. medical strategies and tactics for the rimegepant portfolio within U.S. Medical Affairs and cross-functional U.S. Migraine teams.

Role Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of U.S. medical strategies for the migraine portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Commercial, Field Medical, HEOR, Digital, U.S. Medical Information, etc.) to deliver U.S. Medical plans.
- Review promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance via the U.S. Review Committee (RC) with Legal/Regulatory/Marketing.
- Serve as a scientific resource on disease state, clinical data, labeling, and competitive landscape.
- Support and shape U.S. evidence generation (Phase IV, RWE, publications).
- Coordinate U.S. medical congress activities (coverage planning, session prioritization, onsite support).
- Provide scientific input to medical/educational content and therapeutic area training.
- Support customer insights and advisory board/insight-generation activities.
- Provide expert input to Medical Letters and response documents with U.S. Medical Information.
- Develop medical content for congresses, symposia, promotional speakers, and advisory boards.
- Identify and address medical issues; ensure risk-management strategy implementation.
- Assess safety/regulatory aspects (safety/labeling working groups; potential regulator interactions).
- Manage medical affairs budget/expenditure for assigned projects.

Basic Qualifications
- MD with 4+ years relevant experience.
- 3+ years in Medical Affairs or closely related pharmaceutical function.

Preferred/Plus Qualifications & Skills
- Migraine/headache therapeutic area experience (highly preferred).
- Plus: promotional review, payer access, customer-facing medical, clinical trial ops, safety, regulatory.
- Understanding of drug development; knowledge of health care economics.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and cross-functional/matrix collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; strong presentation skills; fluency in written/spoken English.
