The Medical Science Director will serve as an internal scientific expert supporting products in an assigned therapeutic area, including responding to Medical Information Requests, providing clinical support to field sales and customers, and supporting product development strategy.

Essential Functions:
- Provide clinical and scientific expertise in the assigned therapeutic area to support internal teams, HCPs, and stakeholders.
- Respond to medical information requests from healthcare providers, external partners, and internal departments with accurate, balanced, and timely information.
- Lead and participate in advisory boards, KOL engagements, and scientific exchange to inform product development and medical strategy.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to provide medical oversight and support for clinical trials, including investigator-initiated studies.
- Work with cross-functional teams (R&D, clinical development, regulatory affairs, commercial) to integrate medical insights into company strategy and product life cycle management.
- Develop and deliver scientific presentations and materials for internal and external audiences, including HCPs and KOLs.
- Ensure medical communications and promotional reviews comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Provide ongoing medical/scientific training to internal teams (including sales and medical affairs) on oncology products and disease states.

Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS in a relevant field (e.g., marketing or business) – Required; PhD in a clinical or scientific discipline – Required.
- Experience: 7+ years in clinical/pharmacy/pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry; 5+ years in medical communications (responding to medical information requests and delivering scientific content).

Compensation/Benefits:
- Base salary: $260,000–$290,000 per year; short-term incentive opportunity in first 12 months; 401(k) matching contribution and health/insurance benefits (as part of Total Rewards).
