Role Summary
Medical Director, Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Hematology. Lead medical plans and cross-functional medical affairs activities within US Oncology, focusing on Hematology/Oncology indications and delivering medical strategy and plans (iMAP) across projects and budget management.
Responsibilities
- Support Medical Affairs activities in the Hematology Oncology Franchise, coordinating development and implementation of medical plans (iMAP)
- Lead key projects and supervise budget spend
- Influence Field Engagement plan by synthesizing field insights into actionable tactics and adjusting plans as needed
- Complete MALT directives, support quarterly iMAP reviews at the CMT with the Medical Lead
- Provide cross-functional coverage by supporting the Medical Lead on the CMT and leading working groups as appropriate
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in science-related field (Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience with knowledge of medical strategy, clinical development, and field medical science liaison functions
- Expert technical depth in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience in relationship and partner management (3PโรรดS: Payer, Provider, and Patients)
- Project and relationship management experience with track record of strategic influencing skills
- Experience with clinical trial methodology and evidence generation (especially RWE)
- Business insight, financial and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and manage diverse responsibilities
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Desirable Skills
- Doctorate degree (PharmD/MD or equivalent) with Oncology specialization or PhD in Sciences
- Onco-hematology Medical Affairs experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Working knowledge of FDA requirements
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Budget management experience
- Experience delivering country or global medical affairs plans
