Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and be responsible for all clinical deliverables within the assigned section of a clinical program with minimal supervision from the Program Lead Medical Director (Program Lead MD).
- Manage operational aspects and drive execution of the section of the clinical program in partnership with global line functions, the assigned Clinical Scientist, and Clinical Operations associates.
- Support the Program Lead MD and/or Senior Medical Director, and frequently lead interactions with external collaborators (e.g., regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, advisory boards, patient advocacy groups), internal collaborators (e.g., Research, Early Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Marketing, HE&OR), and internal decision boards.
- Serve occasionally on Global Clinical Development training programs; author or review clinical SOPs; may contribute to GCD strategy via taskforces or panels.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent; ideally with Hematology/Oncology fellowship training.
- Strongly preferred: more than 3 years of involvement in clinical research or drug development (academic or industry) across clinical activities in Phases I through IV.
- Preferred: medical/scientific expertise in the disease area of the assigned program.
