Medical Director, Clinical Science

Role: Medical Director, Clinical Science focused on advancing patient care through scientific and clinical initiatives in biotech. Responsibilities: lead high-impact clinical strategies, develop scientific content and narratives, design observational clinical studies, and foster external scientific collaborations to address unmet clinical needs. Collaborates with Field Medical and external partners to accelerate patient-oriented initiatives. Requirements: MD with clinical experience, preferably in cardiovascular or related areas; proven ability to develop scientific strategies; strong track record of publications; experience in designing and interpreting clinical studies; excellent scientific writing and communication skills; capable of leading complex cross-functional projects and external collaborations. High-Value: remote U.S.-based role with periodic travel to San Francisco, investigator meetings, and scientific congresses. Emphasis on clinical research, evidence development, and external scientific partnerships. The position involves scientific content creation for conferences, publications, and advisory boards, with a focus on translating scientific progress into impactful clinical programs aimed at rare diseases and unmet needs.
