Medical Director, Clinical Research

Role: Clinical Development Lead for RNAi therapeutics, with a focus on ATTR amyloidosis, providing strategic leadership and clinical oversight. Responsibilities: drive clinical trial execution, safety monitoring, regulatory approval strategies, and cross-functional collaboration; advise research teams on clinical feasibility; represent Alnylam at external scientific and regulatory meetings; oversee key deliverables like protocols, regulatory documents, and publications; and influence internal/external stakeholders. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD with strong research or clinical training, board certification (preferably in cardiology), 3+ years industry or equivalent academic experience, expertise in clinical trial design, biostatistics, and regulatory processes; excellent communication and leadership skills; experience working with biotech/pharma partners; and ability to thrive in a fast-paced biotech environment.
