Medical Director, Clinical Research Cardiovascular

Role: Lead clinical development in cardiovascular biopharma, overseeing scientific and medical aspects of research from early phases through regulatory submissions. Responsibilities: design protocols, provide medical oversight, contribute to IND/NDA submissions, analyze trial data, author publications, and establish relationships with cardiovascular experts. Collaborate across functions including Research, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Safety, and Clinical Operations; support product safety reviews; and engage in external scientific representation. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD with board certification in cardiology, 2+ years in clinical development, experience with heart failure studies preferred; strong leadership, communication, and scientific expertise in cardiology essential. High-Value: focus on cardiovascular diseases, including heart failure, with involvement in Phase I-III trials and regulatory submissions.
