Medical Director, Clinical Development, Psychiatry

Role: Lead clinical research strategy and oversee Phase 1-3 clinical studies in collaboration with cross-functional teams at Neurocrine Biosciences. Responsibilities: develop and implement study protocols, select and manage clinical investigators, provide medical oversight of drug safety, analyze and present clinical data, manage resource planning and budgets, and develop biomarker strategies for early development. Collaborate with Medical Affairs and external partners to secure new opportunities and present results, while interfacing with R&D and Business Development. Requirements: MD or DO with residency and board certification in relevant specialty, 2+ years of clinical research experience across all phases, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; expertise in GCP, regulatory procedures, translational medicine, biomarker evaluation, biostatistics, and data interpretation.
