Medical Director, Clinical Development (Oncology)

Role: Medical Director leading oncology clinical programs at Allogene Therapeutics, focusing on the development and monitoring of active CAR T cell trial(s) from pre-IND to late-stage development. Responsibilities include clinical trial oversight, strategy development, cross-functional collaboration, regulatory interactions, protocol design, and stakeholder communication. Qualifications: Medical degree with residency and fellowship in oncology; minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in biotech, pharma, or academic settings; oncology or hematology expertise, with cell therapy experience preferred. High-Value: hematology/oncology, cell therapy, CAR T programs, IND/CTA filings, GxP (GCP, GLP), clinical development, and regulatory engagement. Work setup: based in South San Francisco with potential remote evaluation; travel as needed.
