Medical Director, Clinical Development (Neurology)

Role: Medical Director responsible for clinical development leadership across one or more assets in early and/or late-stage development, focusing on oncology and potentially other therapeutic areas. Responsibilities: provide strategic input, serve as medical monitor, review clinical trial data, author key documents (protocols, IBs, regulatory submissions), build relationships with KOLs, lead steering committees, contribute to publications, and support company growth and collaboration efforts. Leadership also involves mentorship, cross-functional communication, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Medical Degree or equivalent, 8+ years of combined academic and industry experience, including 3+ years in clinical trials; expertise in trial design, GCP/ICH, and regulatory knowledge; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work across time zones with up to 30% travel. Preferred: Board certification in Neurology, experience in Phase 3 trials, interactions with FDA/regulatory agencies outside the US, and background in translational science. High-Value: Oncology (including GIST and TGCT indications), clinical development phases 1–3, medical monitoring, KOL engagement, regulatory documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
