Medical Director, Autoimmunity

Role: Lead clinical development of autoimmune programs from first-in-human to registrational studies, providing strategic and operational oversight. Responsibilities: design studies, develop protocols, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage study conduct including medical monitoring and data review, and contribute to regulatory and scientific documentation. Engage with external experts, participate in business development, and support health authority interactions. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD, 4+ years in clinical trial design and execution within biotech, pharma, or CRO, with experience managing Phase 1-3 autoimmune or biologic therapies. Knowledge of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, or vasculitis is preferred; experience with cell or biologic therapies and regulatory submissions is desirable.
