Medical Director, Autoimmune Disease

Role: Medical Director, Autoimmune Disease, leading Adaptive's autoimmune diagnostics development. Responsibilities: oversee clinical development planning, evidence strategies, and early clinical experience; develop KOL relationships and scientific collaborations; provide medical insights to R&D, commercial, and market access teams; guide clinical validation, utility studies, and regulatory documents; build internal autoimmune expertise; and potentially grow the team as the program advances. Requirements: MD/DO with 8+ years post-training experience, including at least 4 years in autoimmune or immune-mediated disease and 4+ years in industry (biotech, diagnostics, or pharma); board certification or eligibility; experience in clinical evidence planning, real-world evidence, and biomarker development; knowledge of diagnostic study design, GCP, FDA, CLIA/CAP, and related regulations; proven cross-functional partnership skills; ability to travel up to 25%. Preferred: experience advancing diagnostics or biomarkers through validation or launch, supporting drug development, or building medical capabilities in new disease areas.
