Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative medical affairs strategies and plans for BioNTech’s oncology portfolio
- Provide expert medical and scientific insights to cross-functional teams (Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Safety)
- Develop and execute medical education strategies, programs, and materials for healthcare professionals
- Serve as a medical/scientific spokesperson at advisory boards, educational events, and internal meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with external experts, medical societies, and patient advocacy groups in oncology
- Provide medical input into clinical development plans, study protocols, and operational documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in medicine or science (PhD, PharmD)
- 6+ years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry specializing in oncology
- Proven US oncology commercial launch experience
- Strong knowledge of oncology disease biology and therapeutic landscape; breast/women’s cancers experience preferred
- Exceptional communication skills; collaborative mindset for a global matrix environment
- Ability to manage multiple timelines/projects with attention to detail
