Role: Courier responsible for pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports within Labcorp's diagnostic services. Objectives: ensure timely, safe, and accurate specimen handling and client service. Responsibilities: load necessary supplies, execute daily pickup schedules, deliver specimens and materials, operate company vehicle safely, utilize electronic devices for route management, coordinate with dispatch, and adapt to traffic and weather conditions. Requirements: no formal education or experience required; preferred High School Diploma or GED, with 1+ year driver or courier experience and customer service background. Qualifications: valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., punctuality, organizational skills, problem-solving customer issues, at least 21 years old. High-value biopharma aspects: role supports diagnostic testing, specimen management, and healthcare delivery. Collaboration/reporting: works directly with dispatch. Work setup: on-site with a company vehicle, some options for personal vehicle use. Travel: route-based local delivery with no specified travel beyond daily routes.
