Mechanical Engineering Co-Op

Role: Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Ruveon, supporting chemical process improvements and mechanical equipment performance in a plant environment. Responsibilities: optimize processes for yield, capacity, waste reduction, and cost; troubleshoot and improve mechanical reliability; assist with designing, installing, and commissioning control systems; develop project scopes, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards; collaborate on maintenance, reliability, and operational excellence initiatives; support procurement, cost analysis, and process troubleshooting. Requirements: enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s or master’s program, with sophomore standing or higher; able to work 40 hours weekly in a chemical plant environment; physically capable of plant navigation; available for 6-month co-op (Spring or Fall 2027). Preferred: GPA ≥3.0; proficiency in Microsoft Office. High-Value: plant operations, chemical process optimization, mechanical reliability, control system integration, safety and compliance standards, within a crop science manufacturing setting.
