Operations
Description Overview
- $37/hr plus $2.00 shift differential. Schedule: 2-2-3, 12hr shifts from 6pm-6:10am.
- Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
- Support production by troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
- Support operations on product sterilizing equipment, high speed packaging equipment, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, high-pressure boilers and process chillers.
- Understand three phase electrical power and industrial controls.
- Use SAP/AMM to document and track all work.
- Follow plant safety rules; report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Follow factory safety & environmental objectives and targets; maintain compliance with regulations and use Safety & Environmental Management System(s).
- Utilities area specific: trained on boiler/ammonia systems (prior knowledge beneficial).
Scope of the Role
- Follow Perrigo Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality issues immediately.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Perrigo Quality Management System.
- Understand food safety and quality aspects of the position.
- Maintain a clean and 5S compliant work area; follow factory/department safety rules.
- Maintain a positive attitude; communicate with Team Advisor, co-workers, vendors, and contractors.
- Be flexible and work overtime as needed.
Experience Required
- Associate degree in Automation Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related technical field OR 3+ years related work experience in lieu of a degree.
