Operations
Position Responsibilities
- Support Maintenance in maintaining, repairing, and installing production line equipment and facilities (with emphasis on mechanical and pipefitting duties), performing/assisting without direction.
- Maintain vacuum pumps, mills, pumps, power transmission, gearboxes, air compressors, chillers; perform scaffolding work; screwed pipe and tubing repairs/replacements; sanitary plumbing repairs; packing replacement; routine lubrication; bolt torque procedure; gasket replacement; and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Perform and assist with internal fermenter inspections and repairs.
- Perform and assist with code welding, general welding, and process piping.
- Assist with crane operations.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance throughout the plant.
- Operate fork truck safely and efficiently.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree or Journeyman Apprenticeship strongly preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment (required).

Required/Preferred Technical Skills
- Solid mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills; excellent attention to detail; strong decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication.
- Self-directed team environment skills.
- Ability to access all plant areas, enter confined spaces, and work at elevated heights; lift up to 55 lbs.
- Computer proficiency (email/internet/online training; Microsoft Office) and familiarity with maintenance and/or ERP software.

Physical/Work Environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles; occasional wet/humid conditions, confined spaces, outdoor weather, extreme heat, electrical/radiation risk areas; typically loud noise.

Compensation
- Hourly rate range: $40.55–$45.06.
