Material Handler, Cell Therapy Material Operations

Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
- Perform routine Material Operations in the receiving dock, warehouse, and controlled temperature locations within the multiproduct Cell Therapy Facility to support production of commercial and clinical products
- Operate with safety, quality, and integrity
- Perform goods receipt of SAP-managed consumables and raw materials on the receiving dock
- Put materials away into SAP-managed bin locations in the warehouse and other controlled temperature locations
- Execute inventory cycle counts
- Perform material replenishment to the Kitting Department and other customers within the facility
- Spend ~90% of time on the floor executing job functions
- Perform material picking and put away at heights up to 25 feet using Powered Industrial Trucks
- Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (forklifts and turret trucks) for safe and efficient material movement
- Operate pallet wrapper
- Understand and follow CGMP practices per controlled documentation (SOP, Work Practice)
- Complete CGMP paperwork using GDocP principles
- Cross-train in Kitting to build material kits
- Cross-train in Product Services to assist with final Drug Product pack-out operations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (preferred):
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ERP system knowledge/experience (SAP preferred)
- Domestic and international shipping experience (GMP raw materials/consumables preferred)
- Commercial biotech environment experience
- Cold chain material receipt and handling
- Pallet wrapper, forklift, and turret truck experience (preferred)
- Quality Management System familiarity; documentation of change control, deviations, and CAPA (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly bend, reach, and walk
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED; Associateโs or Bachelorโs in a relevant discipline preferred
- Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may substitute
- CPIM, CSCP, and/or CLTD certification preferred (not required)
Compensation Overview:
- Devens, MA: $30.81โ$37.33 per hour
