Role Summary
The Marketplace & eCommerce Analyst drives Haleon’s digital commerce success through strategic management of third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart) and broader eCommerce performance. This role combines marketplace operations, analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven insights to optimize growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketplace strategies for Amazon and Walmart that complement Haleon’s go-to-market model.
- Manage agency relationships that assist with HLN marketplace strategies.
- Partner with Digital Commerce and internal teams to align marketplace initiatives with brand and sales strategies.
- Monitor account health, resolve catalog and operational issues, and ensure consistent execution of marketplace policies.
- Lead enforcement of reseller policies, working with Legal to manage authorized sellers, brand protection, and compliance.
- Oversee brand registry, counterfeit mitigation, and enforcement of authorized reseller policies.
- Price strategy across key eCommerce partners.
- Own monthly and weekly eCommerce performance reporting for Amazon.
- Utilize tools such as Power BI, Amazon Vendor Central, Edge Market Share, Flywheel Commerce Cloud, Profitero and internal dashboards to track KPIs, diagnose performance, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights based on data trends and competitive analysis to accelerate eCommerce growth.
- Build and maintain reporting templates, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Haleon’s internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply, Media, Legal) and external marketplace partners.
- Foster collaboration across functions to execute initiatives that drive sales, strengthen category leadership, and improve the shopper experience.
- Maintain and communicate key reports and performance updates to internal teams and senior leadership.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with retailer contacts and internal stakeholders to identify and deliver joint business opportunities.
- Champion collaboration and partnership across teams, embodying Haleon’s “Win as One” mindset.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and shared accountability.
- Communicate openly and constructively, enabling straight talk and effective problem-solving.
- The position is based in Warren, NJ, and follows a hybrid model, requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week.
Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant OTC/CPG/eCommerce experience (required).
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- Experience presenting to groups (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (required).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team (required).
- Experience with data analysis, performance trends, and reporting (required).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively (required).
- Experience working with Amazon, ecommerce, marketplaces (preferred).
- MBA (preferred).
- Demonstrated success executing account penetration strategy and developing relationships with Trade Customer senior management (preferred).
- Ability to interpret data from several sources to identify opportunities and forecast trends (preferred).
- Ability to document complex issues and proposals succinctly (preferred).
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central (3P), Walmart Marketplace, and FBA (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Amazon algorithms, SEO, and fulfillment processes (preferred).
- Proficiency in using Amazon Seller Central and other relevant software (preferred).
