Responsibilities:
- Own and lead end-to-end planning and execution of high-value oncology congresses (brief through post-show analysis) within the healthcare/life sciences vertical.
- Partner with Assets/Brands/Functional teams to set congress strategy, goals/objectives, and ensure pre/peri/post promotion, booth design, and onsite initiatives to maximize ROI.
- Develop and implement SOPs for high-value oncology congresses/engagements.
- Conduct post-congress analysis using surveys, data analysis, and stakeholder reporting; review budget recaps and feed insights into future strategy.
- Manage end-to-end collaborative project plan trackers, project budgets, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate cross-functional messaging and deliverables with creative, CRM, content, and social media; serve as liaison across leadership and marketing.
- Lead compliant branded/non-branded promotional approval process (Veeva) and ensure firewall compliance.
- Design/build exhibits with AbbVieโs Congress AOR and vendors; oversee AV, booth design/fabrication, graphics, hospitality, shipping, and show services.
Qualifications (required/preferred):
- Bachelorโs degree; 5+ years congress/events/meeting planning experience.
- Preferred: CMP/CTSM/CSEP/CEM/DES or specialized congress/sponsorship training; oncology therapeutic/commercial operations knowledge; Veeva promo mats routing experience.
- Strong budget and project management; cross-functional coordination; ability to lead without authority; autonomy; excellent organization and communication; risk/benefit judgment; Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint).
- Up to 30% travel.
