Role Summary

Director of US Breast Cancer Strategy and Alignment leads the development of short and medium-term US breast cancer strategy, in partnership with global and medical teams, to define our commercial leadership opportunity in Breast Cancer and align with US commercial leaders and franchise leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define the US breast cancer strategy and an above-brand vision and strategy.
  • Lead development of short and medium-term US breast cancer strategy, incorporating asset synergies and disease-state opportunities to support leadership beyond current portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics to create a single view of the evolving breast cancer landscape and the role of AZโ€šร„รดs assets within it.
  • Partner with US commercial leaders across breast cancer assets to ensure strategic and execution alignment across headquarters and customer-facing teams; initially focus on current products and expand to future assets.
  • Report directly to the US Breast Cancer franchise head and contribute as a key member of the franchise leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
    • At least 7 years of oncology marketing, strategy, or related experience (US and/or global)
    • Strong collaborative skills and strategic thinking
    • Comprehensive understanding of the US market and roles of customer-facing teams
  • Preferred:
    • MBA in a relevant field
    • Experience in US marketing or strategy within Oncology
    • Experience in Breast Cancer
    • Experience in sales
