Role Summary
Director of US Breast Cancer Strategy and Alignment to define commercial leadership opportunity in Breast Cancer through an above-brand vision and strategy, partnering with global, medical, and analytics teams to shape US breast cancer strategy and align with headquarters and customer-facing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of short and medium-term US breast cancer strategy in partnership with global and medical teams, including potential asset synergies and broader disease-state opportunities.
- Collaborate with Insights & Analytics to develop a single view of the evolving breast cancer landscape and the role of AZ’s assets within it.
- Partner with US commercial leaders across breast cancer assets to ensure strategic and executional alignment across headquarters and customer-facing teams.
- Initial focus on current US breast cancer products with expansion to future assets as data readouts evolve.
- Report directly to the US Breast Cancer franchise head and serve as a key member of the franchise leadership team.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Required: At least 7 years of oncology marketing, strategy, or related experience (US and/or global)
- Required: Ability to work collaboratively and think strategically
- Required: Comprehensive understanding of the US market and roles of customer-facing teams
- Preferred: MBA in a relevant field
- Preferred: Experience in US marketing or strategy within Oncology
- Preferred: Experience in Breast Cancer
- Preferred: Experience in sales
