General Summary:
Vertex is seeking an Associate Director (AD) on the Forecasting, Analytics and Insights team (North America Commercial) delivering commercial insights to inform commercialization decisions for launched and pipeline assets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a thought partner to North America and Global Marketing leads; provide objective insight
- Evaluate information quality and identify insights gaps
- Create and execute an insights plan using primary/secondary research and/or analytics
- Design and execute analysis:
- Primary research: define objectives; select approach and vendor
- Data analytics: build analysis plan using internal/external data; analyze or partner with analytics colleagues
- Interpret and integrate findings; develop implications and actionable recommendations
- Act as voice of the customer; synthesize insights for leadership and internal initiatives
- Maintain an Insights book for each disease area
- Develop situation analysis for Brand Planning; provide assumptions informing the Long-Range Plan (LRP) forecast model

Knowledge/Skills:
- Expertise in primary market research methodologies; managing end-to-end research projects
- Strong complex quantitative analysis skills; interpret results and partner with analytics experts
- Biopharma commercialization/g0-to-market and launch planning knowledge
- Experience with global brands/insights
- Exceptional written/verbal communication; synthesize complex information
- Proactive, trusted-advisor mindset; comfortable with ambiguity

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (relevant discipline) required
- 8+ years in bio-pharma marketing, market research, and/or analytics (or equivalent)

Compensation/Flex (as stated):
- Pay range: $157,800–$236,600
- Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards
- Hybrid up to 2 days/week remote or On-Site five days/week (ad hoc flexibility).
