Manufacturing Technician (Nights - Back End)

Role: Manufacturing Technician focusing on upstream cell culture processes for biopharmaceutical API production at Novo Nordisk's West Lebanon facility. Objectives include supporting product manufacturing, process validation, and continuous improvement activities in a GMP-compliant environment. Responsibilities encompass executing production tasks, maintaining documentation, supporting process and equipment validation, performing in-process testing, and adhering to safety and quality standards, including GMP protocols. Requires a high school diploma or associate's with 3+ years of manufacturing experience or a bachelor’s in a science discipline with minimal experience. Knowledge of cGMP practices is preferred. The role involves working in a cleanroom environment, wearing PPE, and physical demands such as lifting up to 10 pounds, standing, and handling chemicals and equipment. The position reports to the Senior Manager, API Manufacturing, with a shift schedule of nights (7PM-7AM) on a biweekly rotation, including initial training in a standard daytime schedule. Physical requirements include ability to climb, reach, and communicate effectively. The environment involves exposure to noise, chemicals, and moving machinery.
