Role Summary

Manufacturing Technician II- Packaging- Day Shift. Implement all production processes following cGMP, EH&S guidelines, and applicable regulations. Organize and lead production activities, participate in projects and quality teams, and document process activities. May serve as line lead and ensure production line meets daily goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and quality working environment while adhering to cGMP and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.
  • Support manufacturing operations and meet production task deadlines.
  • Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks.
  • Operate general production equipment (e.g., Downstream Automated Packaging lines, forklifts, hoists).
  • Receive and distribute supplies into the production area and move pallets within the value stream.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments.
  • Follow cGMP, EH&S guidelines, and applicable regulations and paperwork.
  • Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards.
  • Train employees/contractors on procedures.
  • Communicate safety, quality, compliance, and equipment issues to the manufacturing lead operator and supervisor.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
  • Meet deadlines for individual production tasks during shift.
  • Follow the company's safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience or AA or higher with 1+ years of related work experience.

Skills

  • Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate production equipment and manage line tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED; additional education preferred as listed above.

Additional Requirements

  • Physical and environmental demands alignment with manufacturing roles: lifting up to 30 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, potential exposure to cold/hot/wet environments, and need for PPE and controlled environments; may require immunization; ability to work across multiple shifts, weekends, and holidays; may require off-shift hours and overtime.
