Role Summary
Manufacturing Technician II responsible for executing production processes in a cGMP environment, adhering to environmental health and safety guidelines and applicable regulations. You will organize and lead production activities, participate in departmental projects and quality teams, and document process activities. You may act as line lead and will ensure production lines operate smoothly to meet daily goals, while coordinating with supervisors and other departments.

- Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks.
- Operate general production equipment (such as Downstream Automated Packaging lines, forklifts, and hoists).
- Move pallets to different rooms within the value stream.
- Communicate and work cross-functionally with other departments.
- Receive and distribute supplies into the production area.
- Follow cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any other regulations.
- Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
- Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards.
- Train employees/contractors on procedures.
- Communicate issues related to safety, quality, compliance and equipment to the manufacturing lead operator and supervisor.
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience or AA or higher with 1+ years of related work experience.
- Required: Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.

Education
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent; relevant associate degree or higher preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs with or without assistance; may require use of material handling equipment.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods over an 8β12 hour shift.
- Must be able to work across multiple shifts, including weekends, to support 24/7 operations; may include 12-hour shifts and non-traditional hours.
- May require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and other physical tasks; repetitive motions with hands and wrists.
- Vision requirements of 20/20 near and distance; color vision may be required for visual inspection roles.
- Work around chemicals and exposure to loud environments; use of protective equipment may be required.
- No makeup, jewelry, nail polish, or artificial fingernails may be worn in the manufacturing environment.
- Compliance with gowning and PPE requirements; clean room and controlled environment conditions may apply.
- Potential exposure to cephalosporin for product-touch roles; allergy considerations may apply.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
