Role: Laboratory technician supporting vaccine production for Marek’s Disease in a clean room environment, focusing on tissue and viral culture of Chicken Embryo Fibroblast cells. Responsibilities include aseptic technique, preparing media, executing tissue and viral culture procedures, documenting processes, and supporting vaccine batch production, including weekend shifts. Requirements: High school diploma; associate degree in life sciences preferred; laboratory manufacturing experience beneficial. High-value biopharma specifics: Viral culture, GMP compliance, live virus vaccine manufacturing, aseptic techniques, clean room protocols, and cryogenic handling. Collaboration with laboratory support staff and adherence to strict SOPs are essential. Work setup: on-site in Lenexa, KS, with no travel required.
