Role Summary
Manufacturing Technician responsible for supporting the manufacturing processes in the assigned area at Novo Nordisk’s West Lebanon, NH facility. The role requires strict adherence to cGMPs and quality regulations, and involves working in Grade C and Grade D cleanroom environments with proper gowning. When not working in the cleanroom, duties may include document and log book reviews, keeping trainings up to date, and supporting other ad hoc requests. The position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture products and provide manufacturing support activities for the assigned area.
- Complete routine documentation associated with the manufacture of product.
- Support in-process activities and product development when instructed by supervisor.
- Incorporate pre-planned process improvements/cost reduction programs into manufacturing.
- Perform area equipment and process validations in accordance with validation procedures.
- Perform in-process product testing in accordance with standard procedures.
- Support manufacturing activities in other departments as instructed by supervisor.
- Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes.
- Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others.
- Work in Grade C and Grade D cleanroom areas and follow all relevant gowning and safety policies; wear required PPE (hairnet, beard cover, frocks/coveralls, shoe covers, snood, face mask, sterile gloves) and avoid prohibited items in cleanrooms (e.g., food, jewelry, cosmetics, nail acrylics, perfume, personal cell phones).
- Front End Nights Manufacturing team schedule: Week 1: 7PM–7AM Sunday, Monday, Tuesday; Week 2: 7PM–7AM Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. The first 3–4 weeks will include bootcamp training for Manufacturing Technicians, typically Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM until transitioning to the night schedule.

Qualifications
- Education and Certifications:
- High School diploma or Associate’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years’ experience in manufacturing (preferred) or
- Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline with zero years’ experience
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of cGMP operations (preferable).
- The ability to understand and execute established written instructions is essential.

- 0–10% overnight travel required.
- The ability to climb, balance, stoop, reach, stand and walk; push, lift, grasp, finger, and feel; speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication; repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Lifting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; visual acuity to read, write, and analyze; ability to observe work quality and accuracy.
- Working environment may include noise, proximity to moving parts and equipment, exposure to chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust.
