Manufacturing Technician I (OTTAVA Surgical Robotic Platform)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly of robotic modules/components (joints, control modules, cable harnesses) per work instructions and engineering documentation.
- Meet daily build targets while complying with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Build/verify/validate mechanical and electromechanical components.
- Conduct basic functional, electrical, and mechanical tests using calibrated tools and test equipment.
- Identify and escalate assembly/component/test issues.
- Follow clean manufacturing, ESD, and contamination control requirements.
- Record build/inspection/test results in MES, ERP/SAP, and electronic DHR systems.
- Perform in-process inspections/quality verifications; support troubleshooting/line setup tasks.
- Prepare production lines (line clearance, verify maintenance/calibration, ensure material readiness and accurate transactions).
- Maintain certification and proficiency on a designated module.
Qualifications:
Required:
- HS diploma equivalent or 0–2 years in manufacturing/assembly in medical devices, electromechanical systems, or related regulated industries.
- GDP knowledge; familiarity with FDA- or ISO-certified environments.
- Tool proficiency (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, multimeters, presses, etc.).
- Flexibility for overtime/weekend shifts; strong written/verbal communication.
- Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities; independent and collaborative.
Preferred:
- Vocational/technical training; experience with ComplianceWire/MES/SAP; robotics or surgical device assembly.
Work Schedule: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (onsite); occasional evenings/weekends; overtime as needed.
Base Pay Range: $40,250.00–$64,802.50.
Benefits/Time Off (subject to plan terms & hire date): Vacation 120h/yr; Sick 40h/yr (CO 48h; WA 56h); Floating holidays 13 days/yr; Parental leave 480h; plus other stated leaves.
