Manufacturing Supervisor II (B1 Shift 6am–6:30pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday & every other Wednesday)

Responsibilities:
- Safety: Ensure safety is the top priority; drive safety improvements and conduct routine safety gemba; promote zero safety incidents in compliance with EHS requirements.
- People: Deploy team members daily and delegate tasks to meet the production schedule; ensure required training; conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews with survey action plans; manage time and attendance approval; cascade important information.
- Operational: Support weekly goals and production schedules; coordinate shift activities to meet the production schedule; ensure safe shift handover.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies; conduct routine material/line clearance/spot checks; manage shift compliance issues impacting lot completion.
- Performance: Manage change-over and cycle time; identify and support process improvement projects; manage resources to maximize shift throughput; support shift training program (where applicable); track and support key metrics.
- Development: Support personal development and ensure employee development action plans and growth opportunities.
- Operation Excellence (OpEx): Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Waste: Generate and manage non-hazardous and hazardous waste per internal procedures and local/federal regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in sciences or engineering preferred.
- 2+ years supervising/leading a functional team.
- Regulated pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP); familiarity with industrial automation (DCS/PLC); cross-functional process improvement experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs required.
- Aseptic production environment experience preferred (if applicable).
