Operations
Purpose
- Lead and facilitate safe manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, customer service, financial performance (including cost reductions), and a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities
- Safety: Make safety the top priority; drive improvements and conduct safety β€œgembas”; promote zero safety incidents in line with all EHS requirements.
- People: Deploy staff daily; delegate tasks to meet the production schedule; ensure training to required standards; drive engagement via 1:1s, performance reviews, and action plans; ensure weekly time/attendance approval; cascade key information.
- Operational: Coordinate shift activities to meet the production schedule; ensure safe shift handover.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies; perform routine material checks, line clearance checks, and spot checks; address shift compliance issues impacting lot completion.
- Performance: Manage cycle time and change-over time; identify continuous improvements.
- Development: Train and assign progressively challenging tasks; maintain development plans; support personal growth (growth mindset).
- OpEx: Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Waste: Generate/manage non-hazardous and hazardous waste per operating procedures and local/federal regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (science or engineering strongly preferred).
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- 2 years manufacturing/related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP).
- Working knowledge of safety/quality systems and cGMPs; good documentation writing skills.
- Aseptic production experience desirable (if applicable).
