Manufacturing Supervisor I

Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate safe operations in line with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Create a safety-first environment; promote zero safety incidents in compliance with EHS requirements.
- Ensure daily deployment of team members and delegate tasks to meet the production schedule; ensure required training standards.
- Drive engagement with regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and survey action plans; ensure weekly time and attendance approval; cascade important information effectively.
- Coordinate shift activities to meet production schedule; ensure smooth shift handover.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies; execute proactive compliance management (material checks, line clearance checks, spot checks); manage compliance issues impacting lot completion.
- Manage cycle time and change-over time; continuously seek improvements.
- Develop direct reports with appropriate training and progressively challenging tasks; maintain development plans and support growth; practice self-development.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives (OpEx).
- Generate and manage non-hazardous and hazardous waste per internal procedures and local/federal regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in sciences or engineering strongly preferred.
- Two years of manufacturing or related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP).
- Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs; familiarity with regulated documentation; good writing skills.
- Aseptic production environment experience desirable (if applicable).
