Operations
This is for the A2 Shift 2:30PM–11pm, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Safety: Create an environment where safety is the number one priority; drive safety improvements and conduct routine safety checks; promote zero safety incidents in compliance with EHS requirements.
- People: Deploy team members daily to meet the production schedule; delegate tasks appropriately; ensure required training standards; drive engagement through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and survey action plans; ensure time and attendance is approved on time; communicate effectively with the team.
- Operational: Coordinate shift activities to meet the production schedule; ensure smooth shift handover with the next manager so activities are planned and executed safely.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies; perform routine material checks, line clearance checks, and spot checks; manage compliance issues affecting lot completion.
- Performance: Manage cycle time and change-over time; continuously seek improvements.
- Development: Train and develop direct reports with progressively challenging tasks; maintain development action plans; foster a growth mindset.
- Operation Excellence (OpEx): Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Waste Management: Generate and manage non-hazardous and hazardous waste per internal procedures and local/federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in sciences or engineering strongly preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Two years manufacturing or related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as SAP.
- Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs required; familiarity with regulated documentation; good writing skills.
- Aseptic production experience desirable (if applicable).
