Job Title: Manufacturing Software Systems Controls Analyst

Responsibilities
- Understand basic control configuration or programming per design documents to meet functional requirements (IT process and OT methodology).
- Provide first-line MES IT technical support to Project Engineers, Maintenance, Production, and Technical Operations; train IT systems users in automation technologies and process control applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot control system hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Perform site IT systems (PLC’s, SCADA, Data Historian) upgrades and data migrations.
- Develop and execute qualification protocols and related technical documentation (e.g., Functional and/or Design Specifications) following IT systems lifecycle validation activities.
- Perform scheduled IT systems administration and maintenance (OS/anti-virus updates, user account management, critical data backup, etc.).
- Evaluate and recommend control system support improvements; establish monitoring/reporting to support equipment performance reliability.
- Provide production support during off-peak hours; may require overtime, overnight, or weekend work.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related with 2 years’ experience, or Master’s degree with 0 years’ experience.
- Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell Automation software.
- Experience with commissioning and qualification activities.

Preferred
- Manufacturing/device experience.
- MES platform programming/troubleshooting (basic scripting: JSON/SQL), OPC UA using Kepware, and Inductive Automation Ignition.
- Knowledge of Data Historian systems such as OSIsoft PI.
- Hands-on ladder logic/instructional text programming; HMI graphics development.
