Role: Manufacturing Software Systems Controls Analyst responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing control systems including PLCs, SCADA, and Data Historian platforms within AbbVie's IT infrastructure. Objectives involve supporting automation processes, ensuring system validation, and implementing upgrades and data migrations. Responsibilities include providing first-line technical support, diagnosing hardware and software issues, developing qualification protocols, performing scheduled system maintenance, and recommending process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 2 years’ experience or Master's with no experience; hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Automation software, commissioning, and qualification activities. Preferred: Manufacturing experience, programming in scripting languages (JSON, SQL), OPC UA protocols, Data Historian systems like OSIsoft PI, ladder logic, HMI development, and MES platform troubleshooting. High-value specifics include focus on automation, process control, validation, and manufacturing support within a biopharma setting, with potential shifts requiring overtime or off-hours support. Collaboration involves supporting Project Engineers, Maintenance, and Technical Operations teams in a manufacturing environment.
