Role: MSAT Engineer (EE/Test) focusing on design, manufacturing, and industrialization of mechanical and mechatronics assemblies for Agilent's analytical instrumentation. Responsibilities include leading NPI test planning, evaluating electronics designs, process validation, and ensuring manufacturability through Design-for-Excellence principles. The engineer acts as a technical liaison among R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, supporting product platform development, process standardization, and technology transfer across multiple sites (Delaware, Massachusetts, Vermont). Key tasks involve defining manufacturing concepts, leading prototype ramp-up, conducting root cause analysis, and establishing risk-based qualification strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Masterβs in Electrical Engineering or related field, 8+ years of relevant engineering experience with strong background in Test Engineering, PCBA design, and manufacturing. Skills include technical communication, project management, CAD proficiency, and familiarity with FMEA, DoE, and VE methodologies. Preferred: knowledge of Chemistry and Physics, cross-functional teamwork, and process standardization. High-value biopharma specifics: Focus on high-precision electromechanical systems, platform standardization, and process robustness across global sites. Work setup: Full-time, day shift, occasional travel, based at the Wilmington site with remote support to other locations.
