What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and guide the successful execution of clinical and commercial manufacturing of mammalian cell-based biotherapeutics while ensuring cGMP compliance.
- Oversee the Daily Production Schedule and lead cross-functional operations coordination.
- Collaborate to develop and improve schedules and scheduling tools for operations.
- Understand critical parameters of Planning Systems and harness and disseminate valuable data.
- Create and maintain the Daily Production Schedule; follow through on impacts of schedule/structure changes.
- Collaborate in cross-functional planning/coordination meetings to ensure consistent delivery for Redmond and Seattle manufacturing plants.
- Deliver capacity planning models aligning the Master Production Schedule with needed resources (staff, equipment, utilities).
- Support schedule accommodations for project work, plant shutdowns, CAPA implementation, and change control.
- Drive continuous improvement of productivity/efficiency in plant operations and computer systems.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree + 1+ year Manufacturing & Operations experience OR Associate’s degree + 3+ years OR High school diploma/GED + 10+ years.
- Experience with finite scheduling tools and allocation of resources/equipment.
- Experience presenting to upper management and/or business clients.
- Good interpersonal, team, and communication skills.
Preferred Requirements/Skills:
- Knowledge of capacity planning tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SAP, Microsoft BI, SchedulePro).
- Experience with relevant ERP and planning systems.
- Experience in GMP support roles, GMP operations, or process development.
- Technical knowledge of upstream/downstream processing.
- Ability to organize, analyze/interpret, and communicate data/results (presentations and technical writing).
- Clear communication; well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated; independent with ability to initiate/drive goals.
- Ability to coach/mentor and/or cross-train.
