Job Description:
The Group Leader is responsible for leading the manufacturing process of batches using state-of-the-art processing systems, including sophisticated recipe-controlled HMI (human machine interface) control systems.
Essential Functions:
- Verify product and packaging/manufacturing components prior to operations and entry into the packaging room; confirm product, labels, and specifications against batch record/work order/packaging record; ensure accurate logbook data entry and batch documentation completion.
- Initiate batch records per production schedule; verify staging status for each line; print/inspect shipper case labels; ensure 100% label reconciliation; verify vision system results; submit reviewed documentation to Quality Assurance timely.
- Follow manufacturing schedule based on shipping forecast; ensure proper status identification of components throughout manufacturing/packaging; dispose of rejected materials/components per procedures.
- Verify calibration status of equipment before use; perform setup/operation/cleaning per cGMP standards; complete ROSS transactions; schedule personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to Amneal Packaging CAPAs and SOPs; wear appropriate safety/PPE and comply with dress code.
- Maintain focus to prevent mix-ups and cross-contamination; keep rooms clean, organized, and compliant.
Additional Requirements:
- Day shift: 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00am–6:30pm), 3 days week 1 and 4 days week 2; includes working every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (Required)
- Experience: 3+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing (Required)
