Your Role: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and on-floor support for process and equipment, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation in the quality management system, and CAPA to ensure operational reliability.
- Ensure equipment qualification and compliance with cGMP, Elanco policies, and regulatory requirements; oversee interventions, maintenance, and changes via formal change control.
- Drive performance and process optimization through data analysis to monitor performance, assess capacity, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead and support the full lifecycle of capital projects (design, development, execution, commissioning, qualification, validation), including scope definition, design alternatives, equipment selection, user requirements, construction oversight, and process validation support.
- Develop and manage technical documentation and risk mitigation (user requirements, P&IDs, safety/environmental assessments, qualification protocols); collaborate cross-functionally on risk identification and value engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biological, or related engineering.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry.
- Self-motivated team player; ability to prioritize and deliver with minimal supervision; working knowledge of cGMP and/or regulated environment experience; success in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ relevant industry experience.
- Capital project design/development/execution experience.
- Knowledge of monoclonal antibody / recombinant protein manufacturing processes.
- Experience with SAP EAM, ERP, AutoCAD, Veeva Vault, AVEVA PI, Seeq, Meridian.
- Understanding/application of RCI, FMEA, QRM tools.
- Working knowledge of USDA and/or EU GMP regulations for veterinary biologics.

- Salaried day shift; weekend work required on rotation.
