Manufacturing Operator II - 2nd shift

Role: Manufacturing operator supporting Novo Nordisk's Durham solid dosage manufacturing facility for oral treatments targeting type 2 diabetes. Responsibilities include operating, monitoring, and controlling equipment per SOPs; performing changeovers; handling labeling and components; executing production schedules; participating in cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance; reviewing documentation; and contributing to process improvements. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year manufacturing experience, ability to read complex documentation, computer literacy, and training skills. Preferred: Associate’s degree or BioWorks certification, 1+ year FDA-regulated industry experience, troubleshooting expertise, and process organization skills. High-value: focus on solid dose manufacturing, regulated environment, equipment troubleshooting, SOP development, and process optimization. Collaboration/reporting: reports to Shift Manager. Work setup: primarily onsite with physical demands including lifting, operating in noisy/cold/confined spaces, and operating motorized vehicles.
