Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer

Role: MES Engineer (IT-Focused) responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving Manufacturing Execution Systems within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment at Alcon's Johns Creek, GA facility. Responsibilities include configuring MES solutions aligned with manufacturing processes, supporting system integrations with SCADA, ERP (e.g., SAP), and equipment, providing front-line troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with GxP, FDA, and ISO 13485 standards through validation and documentation, and supporting system upgrades and enhancements. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, IT, Automation, and Regulatory teams, along with training users and supporting change management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (or high school +8 years), ability to communicate fluently in English, onsite location, and up to 10% travel. Preferred skills include a degree in Computer Science or related fields, experience with AI, Machine Learning, validation processes, and tools like MS Planner, Kneat, Siemens Op Center, and Pas-X.
