Manufacturing Engineer I

Role: Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer supporting contact lens manufacturing systems at Bausch + Lomb. Objectives: ensure optimized operation of integrated production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and lead equipment improvements. Responsibilities: serve as primary technical support, coordinate between maintenance and engineering, perform critical alignments, verify equipment performance, train technicians, investigate quality events, and lead improvement projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering; 2+ years' experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering; proficiency with CAD, data analysis, and Microsoft Office; excellent communication, organization, and technical skills.
